Tour Plan

  • Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a representative from Gosheni Safaris. From here, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, your guide will give you a short briefing about the adventure that lies ahead. The rest of the evening is yours to relax and prepare for your safari journey.
  • Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up for the drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its sweeping savannahs dotted with ancient baobabs, Tarangire is home to vast herds of elephants, as well as tree-climbing lions that make the park especially unique. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with game drives throughout the afternoon. The Tarangire River, a year-round water source, attracts animals in abundance during the dry season, creating excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities.
  • Day 3: Into the Serengeti
Following breakfast, the adventure continues as you set out for Serengeti National Park. Along the way, the landscapes shift dramatically until you reach the endless plains of the Serengeti, home to some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife. A full-day game drive allows you to spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. During the migration season, you’ll also witness the spectacle of millions of wildebeests and zebras on their epic journey across the savanna. After a picnic lunch in the bush, the game drive continues into the evening before you settle in at your camp.
  • Day 4: Serengeti Game Drives
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti. From dawn to dusk, you’ll follow the trails of the Great Migration or search for the Big Five with the help of your expert guide. The Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places on earth to witness predator-prey interactions. With over 200,000 zebras and 300,000 gazelles joining the wildebeest herds, the plains come alive with the sound of hooves and the drama of survival. After a full day of exploration, you’ll return to camp for dinner and rest.
  • Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the world’s largest intact caldera. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” Ngorongoro Crater is home to an astonishing density of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while surrounded by breathtaking views of this natural amphitheater. As the afternoon ends, you’ll ascend to the rim for dinner and overnight rest.
  • Day 6: Lake Manyara and Departure
Your final safari day takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, described by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa.” Despite its compact size, the park is incredibly diverse, with habitats ranging from groundwater forests to open savanna. The soda lake itself is often carpeted with thousands of pink flamingos, while other bird species such as pelicans, cormorants, and storks are also abundant. Large troops of baboons, elephants, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions add to the excitement. After your game drive, you’ll return to Arusha and be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
